Founded on the principles of Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Warrior Self-Defense teaches basic, reality-based self-defense for women. This program is taught exclusively for women by female instructors in a safe and encouraging environment, fostering a sense of community among women while striving to empower those women with the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves and their loved ones. Warrior Self-Defense is designed to address specific situations of how and where women are commonly attacked. Warrior Self-Defense classes are offered not only at our location, but can be offered for various corporate or personal events. Women will leave this class feeling strong and safe no matter their age or fitness level. Remember, you are not a victim. You are a Warrior!

MEET OUR

SELF DEFENSE INSTRUCTOR

Instructor Jodi

Jodi is the Head Instructor and curriculum developer of the Women’s Warrior Self-Defense program at Fortis Self-Defense. Jodi has been studying martial arts for over 12 years and has advanced level training in Japanese Karate, Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. She is currently a black belt Krav Maga student and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt. Jodi has been teaching women’s self-defense and grappling classes for over 3 years.
